Gavin Richardson officially left the business at the end of June after making the decision to retire at the end of last year.
Gavin joined the Logson Group in 2011 as CEO of Boxes and Packaging Group and since then has strategically led the eight regional businesses, Red Rose Packaging and Boxshop, alongside the site Managing Directors.
Prior to being part of the Logson Group, Gavin enjoyed a career in the industry having worked at DS Smith as IT Director, and Managing Director of Tri-Wall to name just two of his senior roles.
During his tenure, Gavin led the group with great integrity through a period of impressive growth and development.
Speaking of Gavin’s retirement, Logson Group CEO David Richardson said; “Gavin leaves with our very best wishes and thanks for his service to the business. Gavin’s leadership has helped both Boxes and Packaging and Logson Group grow to become one of the major players in the UK packaging market.“
“We know he has many plans to pursue his other interests including sailing and country pursuits.
“Here’s to new adventures, new memories, and time with his family and friends.”
Gavin is succeeded by Regional Managing Director, Peter Gosling who looks after the southern sites and Stacey Austin, who takes care of the northern sites.
