As Silver patrons of Wine GB we were delighted to once again support their annual conference and awards with sponsorship.

This year, we sponsored the Best Sparkling Rose Award, and our Oxford Managing Director, Jonathan Lewis, was proud to present the award to Oastbrook Estate.

Many congratulations go once again to Langham Wine Estate, based in Dorset, for winning 5 trophies including Supreme Champion for the second consecutive year.

Other trophy and regional winners included Abingworth Vineyard, Blackbook Winery, Balfour Winery, Chapel Down, Exton Park, Fenny Castle Vineyard, Flint Vineyard, Harrow & Hope, Hattingley Valley, Hencote Estate, Oastbook Estate, Sandridge Barton, Simpson's Wine Estate, Walgate, Woodchester Valley, Wiston Estate, Vale Vineyard - Gwinllan Y Dyffryn and Velfrey Vineyard.

Jonathan Lewis commented; “The quality of English Wine continues to improve every year and it’s not just about sparkling wine. The diversification of wine that our vineyards are producing continues to impress.

“It was enlightening to spend the day with so many influential people in the GB wine producing sector and share best practice on everything from growing and harvesting techniques, right through to the packaging they use.

“We continue to be a very proud supplier to so many wine producers in the UK, including many who won awards this year.”
