Bristol team celebrates long service milestones

Our Bristol team is celebrating a number of long service milestones on in 2026!

Fourteen members of the team have been there over ten years with the longest serving, Paul Jeffreys, Area Sales Manager clocking up an impressive 44 years.

Not far behind are John Holder, Baler Operator and Royston Stone, Technical Manager who both have over 40 years’ service.

Managing Director, Andy Clarke, has been in the corrugated packaging industry for 42 years. He became Operations Manager at Boxes and Packaging (Oxford) in 2001 before joining the Bristol team 22 years ago.

Andy commented; “This is an impressive set of long service achievements which really reflects the ethos of the team at Bristol.

“Some of the team has also enjoyed promotions during that time including Cary Spicer (31 years) our Operations Manager who began work with us as a printer slotter operator and Paul Verstraten (30 years) our Design Manager who began as a machine operator.”

Ian Malcolm – Area Sales Manager – 27 years

Joanne Blatchford – Production Planner – 25 years

Birkan Akpinar – Casemaker Team Leader – 24 years

Mike Lee – MPG setter operator – 23 years

Graham Bowyer – Goods inwards- 12 years

Colin Adams – Despatch and warehouse – 12 years

Lee Charnock – Machine Setter/Operator – 11 years

Oliver Spiers – Sales and Commercial – 10 years

Andy concluded; “Oliver was also our first apprentice we had with the business so to see him have a successful career with us is very pleasing.

“Congratulations to all our team and I look forward to many more years working together.”
